Conflict of interest
The aim of this policy is to protect both WCLT Ltd and individual Board members from any appearance of impropriety. Board members have a legal obligation to act in the best interests of WCLT Ltd and in accordance with its Rules. Conflicts of interest may arise where a Board member’s personal or family interests and/or loyalties conflict with those of WCLT Ltd. Such conflicts can inhibit free discussion, result in decisions or actions that are not in the interests of WCLT Ltd, and/or risk the impression that WCLT Ltd has acted improperly.
Declarations of conflict of interest by each member of the committee are available on request.
